Legal
Terms.
Plain language. Enterprise contracts replace these where they differ.
The service
PiracyIntel provides a console and, on Enterprise plans, an API and data delivery, reporting measured demand for film and television. The service is described on this site and in the docs; we may change modules and features, and we will not reduce the depth or coverage of a paid plan mid-term without notice.
Plans and payment
Starter and Console are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. Prices are those published on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Enterprise is on contract. Cancel from the account menu; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Seats
A seat is one named person. Sharing a login is not permitted. Console includes ten seats; Enterprise the number in the contract.
Licence to the data
You may use the figures in the console, exports and reports for your own business: analysis, decisions, internal and board reporting, and negotiation. You may not resell, redistribute or publish the data as a dataset, or use it to build a competing service. Enterprise contracts can extend this licence.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other workspaces, scrape the console, or exceed the API limits agreed. We may suspend access to protect the service and will tell you why.
Accuracy
Demand is measured from observable activity and resolved to title and market by automated means. It is a measurement, with the limits of one. We do not warrant that any figure is complete or error-free, and figures are not advice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Termination
Either party may end a monthly plan at the end of a billing period. We may end access for breach of these terms after notice. On termination, exports you have already taken remain yours under the licence above.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts, unless an Enterprise contract says otherwise.
