Demand peaks on weekend evenings; a release that lands on Friday afternoon meets the peak head on.

What it answers

When demand happens: by month across the year, by weekday across the week, by hour across the day.

How to read it

Three views. The month chart is share of the year’s demand; the weekday by hour heatmap is share of the week; darker is more. Evenings and weekends lead almost everywhere; the module shows by how much, and where the exceptions are.

On the page

  • Filters: market, genre, format. Hours are shown in UTC by default and can be set to the market’s local time.
  • Tables give the numbers behind each view.

Tips

Read a market’s local-time heatmap before scheduling a release or a marketing push there. The peak hour differs by four or five hours between markets that share a language.
